Leaving campsite at 2pm we drove east all day till ten pm to arrive in Glenwood Springs in the middle of the Rockies.
Mile after mile of wide open space and not much traffic
At reception of the motel was a sign saying that even though marijuana is legal in this state you cannot smoke it in the motel rooms. Its only allowed in your own home. The receptionist said that they used to get people wandering into reception smoking joints and think it was ok.
The mattresses were changed 6 months ago so made for great sleep.
Then free brekky
Then 6 hrs to Estes Park where The Shining motel is. This was a trip bucketlist for Sarah. Tommorrow we will have lunch there
