If you wake up freezing in the tent and think your fingers are being bitten by sandflies in the night; you are probably right.
If you camp next to a snowy mountain you will wake up frozen many times in the night (even with four duvets!) Brrr!

Freezing here in Christchurch, heavy rain and gale force winds, heaters on. Hope you are at least dry. Sounds like you are having a good time and seeing lots of our beautiful country.
