Singapore 4th birthdays!

This morning I heard the children singing happy birthday to each other in the bathroom.. Very sweet! 

They were very excited and opened their presents one at a time. They were pretty surprised with a clock work jumping frog.. Esme now refers to them as her 'pets'.

Next came Rowans big present from the Banks family - a Transformer - which he hasn't put down since he got it.. Unfortunately Nick (Sarah's fiancée) is the only one who can 'transform' it into a lorry. I can see lots of coaching needed before we leave! 

Here are Nick and Sarah trying to understand the complex instructions- 2 degrees, a masters and a Phd between them.. 

Esme was delighted with her newest My Little Pony addition.. (Notice her lovely new dress was thrown by the wayside!)

Rowan also got a robot that shoots marbles

And was not impressed with a glow in the dark Spider-Man mask and wanted Esme's doctors kit.. 

She also got a mermaid Barbie type doll with 8 dress changes that she absolutely loves..

Then we went for Dim Sum which the children didn't really enjoy but as it was their birthday they were allowed an ice cream. The sugar in the ice cream lead to this..

And it wasn't long before Esme was in too.. 

They both had a fantastic day but on the way home Rowan told me how much he missed all our friends and family at home..
