Day2 lake tekapo

First we had the long slow drive back to metalled road. Sometimes we had to drive along the piles of stones built up So as to not scrape the car along the bottom. It was like being on Ice as the steering wheel went floppy

Sarah was INcredibly enthusiastic about taking pictures. 

"stop the car stop the car!"

But after a few hrs In the car kids were understandably bored so we stopped Again

Then at last we arrive at lake tekapo. View from our pitch. When the sun went in the water became dark blue

We then glued and taped our "seconds" tent where the machine stitching has been missed

Then walk Into the village on tarmac path (scooterable)
