Today we started to bulk up again with cds for car, books for kids and duvets to sleep on next week when we drive around. After a couple of stops we parked in town and set off thru a park.

Then we got to the centre
And slowly realised the impact of the 2011 quake. The stores above were still deserted but inits place was "restart" where the closed damaged shops were reborn in containers
Then we had lunch outside one. The corn fritters and service and everything were so nice i went behind the counter afterwards to thank the ladies working there. If they had had a bell i'd have dinged it in appreciation.
Overall very relaxed few people lots of space. Bit like oxford on sunday morning
