Victoria Day Parade

Today is a public holiday. So we were kindly lent a car and we set off at 7.30am to beat the traffic. Once again we were expecting UK levels of busyness which didnt materialise. The multistorey was free and the attendant all smiles and chatting.

The parade was 3 hrs long but we managed half of it before kids got restless

It was only about 3 deep along the edge of the roads. Kids sat on kerb so they could see. Free Orange balloons
Then back to the Red fish Blue fish container for a bit of variety
Oysters from the grill w coleslaw
(L) cod
(R) medium rare albacore tuna grilled
Deep fried halibut
We then found a high school jazz band from Davis, California
Their closing act was to play the 'Feem 'Toon of Wallace and Gromit.
