Ferry Penang to Butterworth

Leaving hostel before light we scootered& walked fully loaded but feeling the benefit of the lack of stuff we just sent home in a sea mailed box.  It was cool and quiet and the roads glistened in the street lamp light owing to rain last night.  Instead of staying safely to the side as in daytime wr could be in the road and zoom over crossings. Arriving at the waiting area after a maze of ramps the kids attracted the attention of someone.

when "sarah" first came over to sit next to the kids they both promptly moved next to mummy looking suspiciously at her. But snack offerings thawed things out. She was 24 and worked In a chinese. Originally from Nepal. Then the waiting finished
20 mins later we had negotiated with an old chinese lady to help her along the staircases. This meant she would be able to show us the way
we helped her up but she was fine going down. All the stations are new concrete masterpieces. Walking across the tracks we found ourselves on the train.
